Michelle von Tersch

Michelle Von Tersch, APR, Fellow PRSA, has extensive experience in communications and public relations within the healthcare sector, serving as Senior Vice President of Communications & Legislative Affairs at Community Health System since October 1998. In this role, Michelle is accountable for public relations, marketing, internal communications, and legislative affairs strategies for a four-hospital system comprising 8,800 employees and 1,400 affiliated physicians, and oversees communications for the executive leadership and Board of Trustees. Prior positions include roles such as Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs, as well as various management positions focused on strategic communication and marketing initiatives. Michelle's earlier experience includes serving as an Assignment Editor/Field Producer at ABC30 KFSN TV. Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Fresno, and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the same institution.
