Katie Simons, MPA, currently serves as the Donor Relations Coordinator at Community Housing Network, Inc., where responsibilities include developing engagement and fundraising strategies and providing administrative support to the Development Department. Prior experience includes a role as Election Chair for Chesterfield Township, improving the voting process and reducing wait times, and positions as Senior Program and Communications Manager and Manager of Strategic Initiatives & Communications at a healthcare nonprofit, where program management and communication projects were successfully overseen. Additional work includes internship experience with the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration, and a role as a Graduate Assistant at Oakland University, where a proposal resulted in substantial funding. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Organization and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government, both from Oakland University.
