Rene Barraza

Rene Barraza is a seasoned construction risk manager currently employed at Community Investment Corporation since January 2021. With extensive experience in the construction and architecture fields, Rene has held senior roles such as Senior Owner's Representative at IFF (CDFI) from April 2014 to December 2020, and Senior Project Manager/Estimator at RES Construction Inc. from April 2012 to April 2014. Prior to these positions, Rene served as Senior Project Architect at Olsen Vranas Architects from June 2006 to April 2012, and worked as an architect at CSA Group and Macondo Corp, focusing on construction administration and drawing production. Early career experience includes drafting for middle school projects at Wold Architects & Engineers. Rene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology, obtained between 1996 and 2001.
