John Nolan

John Nolan serves as the President of the Board of Directors and a Board Member for the Greenville County Historical Society since April 2022. As the owner of Greenville History Tours since August 2006, John specializes in personalized walking, driving, and culinary tours in Greenville, SC. Additionally, John is a culinary historian and co-owner of Ultimate Greenville Foodie, an influencer and food photographer with a comprehensive knowledge of local gastronomy. As a freelance writer for Community Journals, John contributes bi-weekly articles titled "Glimpses of Greenville," focusing on historical aspects of the area. In academia, John has been an Assistant Professor at Bob Jones University since 1992, teaching various art courses and serving as a Curator for a significant collection of Old Master paintings. John's educational background includes an MA in Fine Arts from Bob Jones University and a BFA from Bowling Green State University, along with studies in Italian Art History and photography.
