Eli Mattern

Eli Mattern is an experienced legal technology professional with a diverse background in both technology and law. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at Community Legal Services since August 2022, Eli oversees the technological infrastructure for the nonprofit organization. Previous roles include Product Manager at Future Foundry, where Eli collaborated with clients and teams on product development, and CEO & General Counsel at SavvySuit, a legal tech company in Orlando. Eli also served as Interim Director of Technology for The Florida Bar Foundation, focusing on technology strategy for underserved communities, and worked as a Staff Attorney at Brevard County Legal Aid, representing low-income homeowners. Additionally, Eli founded and managed "The Student Appeal," an online law journal. Eli holds a JD from FAMU College of Law and a BA in Theater from Florida State University.
