Michael C. Hoosier

Michael C. Hoosier is a Senior Attorney Fellow at Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto since March 2023, following a role as a Clean Slate Attorney at Alameda County Public Defender from June 2021 to March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where counsel was provided on compliance with various privacy laws, and as a White Collar Associate at Vinson & Elkins, participating in complex commercial litigation. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Philosophy and Writing from Washington University in St. Louis. Additional educational experiences include a scholarship program at the University of Oxford and participation in the United States Senate Youth Program.
