Mark Churay

Mark Churay has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark started their career at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor, where they completed a corporate study program and analyzed client investments. Mark then worked at American General Finance as a Financial Representative and later became a Branch Manager, where they achieved significant increases in branch production and reduced expenses. Mark also worked as a Contract Staff Accountant/Analyst at Terry A. Redman, where they supported the CFO with complex accounting and budgeting projects. At Internet Global Data Solutions, they gained experience as a Contract Staff Accountant/Intern. Mark then joined Community Living Services as an Accountant, where they received recognition for their efficiency and quality of work. Mark later moved up to become the Finance Director, responsible for evaluating and directing organizational decisions. Mark also worked at Fortis Energy Services, Inc. as a Senior Accountant and later as an Accounting Manager, where they ensured the accuracy of financial statements and collaborated with the VP Finance and CEO for strategic planning. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated strong analytical, financial management, and leadership skills.

Mark Churay has a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Accounting from Walsh College, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Michigan from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Mark has also obtained certifications such as being a graduate of The National Leadership Institute on Developmental Disabilities at the University of Delaware in July 2019, and being a Speechcraft Public Speaking Graduate from Toastmasters International in June 2013.
