Richard Turner

Richard Turner is the current Executive Director at Community Media Center. Richard has over 15 years of experience in the media industry, with a focus on sales and management. Prior to their current position, they served as the Regional Sales Director and Regional Sales Manager for Tightrope Media Systems, and as the Executive Director for Montgomery Community Television. In these roles, they were responsible for managing sales teams, developing new business opportunities, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of each organization. Richard has also served as an Information Specialist III - CCM Engineer for Montgomery County, where they provided engineering services for the county's cable television production facilities. Richard is a highly experienced media professional with a proven track record of success in leadership positions.

Richard Turner received an AA in Media Communications from Laney College. Richard then went on to earn a degree in Social Work from Morgan State University. Finally, they completed a degree in Communications/Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
