Sarah Chain

Sarah Chain is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Community Progress Council since January 2022. In this role, Sarah formulates strategies to enhance the organization’s reputation and drives targeted campaigns for key audiences. Previously, Sarah held the position of Marketing Director at United Way of York County, where responsibilities included leading marketing and branding strategies and collaborating with other local United Ways. Sarah's career also includes significant experience in advertising and journalism, having worked as an Account Director at Gavin Advertising and as a books editor and multiplatform journalist at York Daily Record. Sarah holds a BA in Journalism and Creative Writing from James Madison University.
