Larissa Ormsby Hanpeter

Larissa Ormsby Hanpeter serves as the Director of Human Resources at CRi - Community Residences, Inc. since March 2024, bringing extensive experience in HR leadership roles. Since February 2019, Larissa has held the position of President and Board Member for The HR Leadership Forum in the DC Metro Area. Previous roles include Managing Director of Human Resources at the Water Environment Federation and Senior Global Compensation Analyst at Bechtel Corporation. Larissa has also directed human resources operations at ARServices, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, and AAC Inc, showcasing expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR compliance across various sectors. Additionally, Larissa has a background in the culinary field as a Chocolatiere and instructor, and has engaged in volunteer coordination with NOVA SHRM, strengthening commitment to the HR community. Larissa earned a BA from American University, complementary to education at Laguna Beach High School.
