Community Resource Center (CRC) creates opportunities, tools, and strategies to develop nonprofits and community groups to strengthen Colorado.  We are a mission driven nonprofit that offers a continuum of services throughout the state of Colorado.  

Since its founding in 1981, Community Resource Center has assisted thousands of Colorado nonprofits in rural, suburban, and urban communities – to strengthen nonprofit capacity, to address a variety of community issues, and to build the nonprofit sector statewide. Early on (1981- 84), CRC was involved in community organizing to promote social change within Denver’s inner city. By 1984, the mission evolved to include providing services for a broad range of nonprofit organizations and community groups throughout Colorado. Now three decades strong, CRC provides training and technical support to nonprofits in the areas of leadership and management, organizational development, strategic planning, board and constituency development, and fundraising to strengthen Colorado communities. 

CRC’s leadership within Colorado’s nonprofit sector has been recognized by several awards: the 1995 “Samaritan Institute Award” from the Colorado Ethics in Business Awards Committee, for illustrating the importance of ethical values in community work; the 2007 “Community Inclusiveness Award” from the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross; and most recently, the 2008 “H. Chase Stone Award for Excellence in Community” from El Pomar Foundation.

This team plays a crucial role in ensuring CRC's mission-driven programs effectively serve and empower community groups and nonprofit organizations statewide.

Program Management Team

The Human Resources and Operations team at Community Resource Center (CRC) ensures the organization's internal processes run smoothly and effectively support its mission. The Human Resources Manager oversees recruitment, employee relations, and benefits, fostering a positive workplace culture. The Business Operations Manager streamlines operational workflows and manages resources to enhance organizational efficiency. The Event Coordinator organizes and executes internal and external events to facilitate community engagement and program delivery. The Case Manager provides direct support to nonprofit clients, helping them access the resources and training needed to achieve their goals. Together, this team strengthens CRC's internal structure, enabling the organization to better serve Colorado communities.
