Chiung-chi Chen

Chiung-Chi Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and education within the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Development at the Community School of Music and Arts since December 2016, Chiung-Chi provides leadership in strategic development, fundraising, and donor relations. Prior experience includes directing development at the El Camino Youth Symphony Association, where approximately 40% of the annual budget was raised, and managing over 400 volunteers. Chiung-Chi has held positions as Board President at Emeline Preschool, Lecturer at San Francisco State University and UC Santa Cruz focusing on humanities and music courses, and Marketing Director at the Santa Cruz Symphony. Chiung-Chi holds a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from UCLA, as well as a Master’s in Performing Arts and a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Economics from Taipei National University of the Arts and National Taiwan University, respectively.
