Art4Schools Program Manager at Community School of Music and Arts

Kelsey Rieger is the Art4Schools Program Manager at Community School of Music and Arts. Kelsey previously worked as the Program Director for Youth in Arts, where they were responsible for developing and growing partnerships with school district clients, county office representatives, and school site leaders to build sustainable and equitable access to arts learning for students of all backgrounds and abilities.

Rieger has extensive experience in curriculum development, working with teaching artists to create project-based curriculum for TK-12 programming. Kelsey is also experienced in budget and contract management, and has designed and conducted professional development trainings for educators, administrators, and community stakeholders.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Rieger was responsible for designing and producing instructional interactions and e-learning content in visual and performing arts for neurotypical and neurodiverse TK-5 students during school closures. Kelsey also implemented and managed an arts-based Learning Management System (LMS) for TK-12 student access during school closures.

Kelsey Rieger has a MS Ed. in Art Education from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

A direct report to Kelsey Rieger is and Kim Pocek - Art Club & Exhibition Coordinator. Kelsey Rieger reports to Vickie Scott Grove, Executive Director. Kelsey Rieger works with Erin Brownfield - Director of Marketing & Communications, Lauren Fletcher - Chief Financial Officer, and Cullen Blain - Art4Schools Program Manager.
