Saurabh Patel

Saurabh Patel currently serves as the Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer at Florida Retina Center, a position held since June 2006. In addition, Saurabh Patel is a member of the Board of Trustees at Community School of Naples since June 2015 and has been advising new technologies for pediatric vision screening as a member of the Board of Advisors at Rebion since June 2012. Saurabh Patel's early career included working as a Software Programmer at Andersen Consulting from 1991 to 1993. Educational qualifications include an Ophthalmology Training & Fellowship in Eye Disease/Retina from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (2000-2004), a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (1995-1999), a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University (1993-1995), and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University (1987-1991).
