Community Support Advocates
Shannon Kaster is a mental health therapist at Community Support Advocates, providing individual therapy for adults and children as young as 4 years old. Shannon also serves as an Integrated Service Coordinator, offering in-home habilitation services for youth transitioning to adult services. Additionally, Shannon works as a Service Navigator, assisting Polk County residents with mental health needs by referring them to appropriate services. Shannon is also involved in coordinating art programs for adults living with disabilities or mental health diagnoses. Shannon is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Iowa, with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling.
