Joe Preston Sumo

Joe Preston Sumo, Sr. serves as the Program Director at Bello Machre since April 2024 and has held the role of Community Support Coordinator (Assistant Program Director) at Community Support Services, Inc. since February 2019. Additionally, Joe has been a Faculty Assistant at the School for International Training since September 2016. Previous positions include Coordinator of Community Life Services and Senior Assistant Program Director at Community Support Services, Inc., Senior Licensing & Regulations Officer at the Liberia Telecommunications Authority, and various roles at the Liberia Telecommunications Authority, including Technical Analyst to the Chairperson and Project Coordinator for Universal Access/Special Projects. Joe holds multiple degrees from the University of Liberia and the School for International Training, including a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development: International Policy & Management and several degrees in Public Administration and Sociology.
