Brenda Johnson is currently serving as an MST Therapist at Community Youth Services, specializing in Multisystemic Therapy for youth exhibiting antisocial behaviors within the juvenile justice system. Previously, Brenda worked with The Stepping Stones Group, LLC as both a Career Services Specialist and Career Services Coordinator, focusing on connecting school districts with qualified professionals to enhance student outcomes. Brenda began their career as a Career Advisor at CareerTeam before pursuing academic qualifications, including a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Northcentral University, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Science from Ashford University.

Community Youth Services (CYS) is a non-profit organization actively working in the communities in Thurston, Mason, Lewis and Pierce counties. Through an array of programs CYS offers a continuum of care to help youth, ages 12-24, find their way toward safety, stability and success. Our programs cover juvenile justice, early intervention, out-of-home care, employment and education, behavioral health and wellness, and shelter and housing.
