Erin Thiessen

Erin Thiessen is a skilled healthcare professional with extensive experience in laboratory coordination and medical assistance, currently serving as a Laboratory Coordinator and Medical Assistant at Community Care Physicians since February 2020. Previously, Erin worked at Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region as both an Ophthalmic Assistant & Scribe and a Surgical Coordinator, where responsibilities included documenting patient medical histories and managing patient flow in the surgical center. Erin’s career began at Mediation Matters as a Conflict Management Program Coordinator, where an education-based conflict resolution program was launched for inner-city youth. Currently pursuing a nursing degree at Maria College, Erin's diverse background reflects a strong commitment to patient care and effective communication within the healthcare setting.
