Lorenza Ramírez Hoyos

Lorenza Ramírez Hoyos has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and user experience. Lorenza is currently working as the Director of Product Design at Commure since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Staff Product Designer and Senior Product Designer at Commure from March 2021 to February 2023 and from August 2020 to March 2021 respectively.

Before joining Commure, Lorenza worked at Merlin where they served as a Senior Product Designer and mentored junior and senior product designers to become experts in the business and products. Lorenza has also worked as a Product Designer and User Experience Designer at Merlin.

Lorenza's earlier experience includes working at Imaginamos as a UX Designer, where they assisted entrepreneurs and businesses in understanding product ideas and designed functional experiences. Lorenza also worked as a Junior UX Designer at Imaginamos.

Lorenza began their career as an intern at Cristina Grajales Inc and Adriana Satizabal Producciones & in 2015 and 2011 respectively.

Throughout their career, Lorenza has demonstrated their ability to lead design initiatives, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and create user experiences that meet customers' needs.

Lorenza Ramírez Hoyos completed their high school education at Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros in 2009. Lorenza then pursued a degree in Industrial Design at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 2009 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, they obtained additional certifications, including Product Design from KURIOS in 2023, User Research and Design from Coursera in 2018, Introduction to UI Design from Coursera in 2018, UX Research from UXcore in 2018, Mejoramiento de la Experiencia de Usuario from Universidad de Los Andes in 2016, and Digital Photography from LaSalle International in 2010.
