Rick Zeni

Rick Zeni has a diverse work experience in the airline and aviation industry. Rick is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at CommuteAir since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Interim Chief Technology Officer at Lynx Air from November 2021 to May 2023.

From June 2014 to March 2021, Rick worked at Frontier Airlines as the CIO, overseeing the technology operations of the company. Before that, they served as an Executive in Residence at NYU Stern School of Business from July 2013 to December 2015, where they facilitated collaborations between academics and industry, focusing on solving real-world problems using advanced analytics.

Rick also has experience as an independent airline/aviation professional from September 2012 to June 2014. Rick worked at JetBlue Airways in various leadership roles, including Vice President - IT Business Solution Delivery, Vice President CSS Business Change Management, and Vice President Revenue Management. At JetBlue, they were responsible for delivering technology solutions aligned with the company's strategy, leading system replacement efforts, and introducing revenue-maximizing approaches.

Prior to JetBlue, Rick worked at US Airways where they held the role of Managing Director Pricing and Revenue Management Development from January 2005 to March 2006. Rick also served as the Manager of Revenue Management Development and held various positions within the company from September 1981 to November 2002.

Rick'searly career included a role as a Project Manager Operations Research at Sabre Holdings from January 1998 to December 1999. Overall, Rick Zeni has extensive experience in technology leadership, revenue management, and aviation operations.

Rick Zeni has a diverse education history. Rick earned their PhD in Management Science from Rutgers University - Newark, completing their studies from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Management from the same institution, graduating between 1996 and 1999. Before pursuing their MBA, Zeni achieved a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics at Rutgers University in 1993-1994. Rick'sundergraduate degree, another MBA, with a focus on Economics, was acquired from Montclair State University, where they attended from 1991 to 1993.
