Gilles MacHado

Gilles MACHADO is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and control. Currently serving as the Head of Management Control at Compagnie Des Alpes since September 2006, Gilles oversees finance control for leisure parks generating €400 million in revenues, managing 14 companies including Parc Astérix and Futuroscope. Prior to this role, Gilles was the Senior Finance Manager at Disneyland Paris from October 2000 to September 2006, responsible for hotel and convention center finances, which included overseeing 7 hotels with 5,800 rooms and managing a team of 9 finance managers. Earlier experience as a Business Controller at GL events involved producing forecasts, preparing financial statements, and implementing margin analyses for the events division in the Paris area. Educational qualifications include a Master of Research in Organization Studies and Theories from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, an MBA from IAE Paris - Sorbonne Business School, and studies at SKEMA Business School.
