Marcelo Barcia

Marcelo Barcia has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Head of Expansion at COMPAÑÍA MEGA S.A. since February 2006. Key responsibilities include managing expansion projects, ensuring quality and safety standards, and overseeing engineering activities across various roles such as Engineering Chief, Project and Engineering Chief, and Process Engineering Chief. Barcia's career at COMPAÑÍA MEGA S.A. began in 2000, with significant contributions in quality control and laboratory management. Prior to that, experience includes roles at TGS, where skills in process optimization and laboratory analysis were developed. Marcelo Barcia holds a Master's Degree in Petrochemical Process Engineering and two degrees in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional del Sur, alongside a background in chemical technology.
