Spann Laffitte

Spann Laffitte has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. They most recently worked as the AVP, Head of Employee Benefit Sales at Companion Life Insurance Company starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Liberty Fellow at The Aspen Institute from April 2019. Spann also worked as a Regional Manager at Guardian Life from February 2022 to August 2022.

Before that, Spann held the position of Vice President of Sales and Account Management at Delta Dental from August 2012 to February 2022. They also had a role as a Dental Product Development Manager at BlueCross BlueShield of SC from July 2010 to August 2012.

Going further back, Spann served as a Senior Sales Representative at Assurant Employee Benefits (now Sun Life Financial) from April 2008 to June 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Group Sales Representative at METLIFE SMALL BUSINESS CENTER from June 2000 to March 2008.

Before their career in insurance, Spann worked as a Campaign Director at CAPITAL RESOURCE GROUP, INC from May 1999 to June 2000, where they managed fundraising campaigns and conducted feasibility studies.

Spann Laffitte pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Management from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business between 1995 and 1999.
