Aine Whelan

Aine Whelan is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as Compliance Manager at Companjon since November 2020, a leading tech venture in Europe specializing in digital embedded insurance. Prior to this role, Aine held the position of Regulatory Compliance Manager at White Horse Insurance Ireland dac from October 2017 to November 2020, and served as Compliance Assistant at the Professional Insurance Brokers Association (PIBA) from February 2010 to October 2017. Aine began a career in insurance as a Claims Advisor at Aviva plc from June 2005 to January 2009. Aine holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Insurance and European Studies from the University of Limerick and has completed the ACII qualification through the Insurance Institute of Ireland, along with additional studies at the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland between 2011 and 2012.
