Igor Kuprienko

Igor Kuprienko has a diverse work background. Igor started their career as the Deputy General Manager at the St. Petersburg Foundation for SME Development in 1994 and held the position until 2003. Igor then worked as the Regional Director at ManNet Partners from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they became a Senior Expert for the Development of Internet Based Interactive Government to Business Services in Northwest Russia project from 2005 to 2007. Igor then worked as a Senior Expert for the E-Skills for Russian SMEs project in 2006 and 2007. In 2008, they became the Head of the Lappeenranta Representative Office in St. Petersburg, a position they held until 2013. From 2012 to 2013, they also served as the Director of the Russian Office for Wirma Lappeenranta Oy. In 2014, they worked as the Commercial Director for BioPharmos Group and then transitioned to becoming the CEO of Pharmbiotech Oy, where they specialized in industrial biotechnology growth of rare plants. In 2013, they founded and became the CEO of Greater Metropolia Development Consulting. Since 2015, they have been working as the lead analyst in the e-Government Center at ITMO University, where they are responsible for fund raising, project management, commercialization of innovations, and development of international teams for effective collaboration.

Igor Kuprienko has a diverse education history. Firstly, they attended the Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEH" named after D.F. Ustinov from 1983 to 1989, obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Igor then pursued further education by attending the same university from 1989 to 1991, earning a Research Engineer degree focused on Thermal Control Systems. Alongside this, they attended the International Space University in 1991 and obtained a Diploma in Space Business and Management.
