Stavros Asthenidis has a diverse work experience in the field of information and communication technology (ICT). Stavros began their career as a Program Manager at Cable Link (Hellas) S.A., where they managed IT and Telecom projects related to mobile networks infrastructure deployment.
Asthenidis then worked as an Experienced Management & Technology Consultant at various organizations, including the Special Secretariat for Digital Planning and the Special Secretariat on Public-Private Partnerships. In these roles, they provided consulting services for ICT projects, including the design, evaluation, and coordination of e-government projects and public-private partnerships.
Stavros also worked as a Business Development professional at Telenavis SA and served as an Experienced Management & Technology Consultant for the European Commission's Task Force for Greece. In both these roles, Asthenidis contributed to the growth and development of the organizations through their expertise in management and technology.
Asthenidis has also held key leadership positions in IT companies. Stavros served as the Chief Executive Officer of DAEM SA, the IT Company of the City of Athens, where they successfully implemented various ICT projects for the Municipality of Athens and other public organizations. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at Information Society SA, a trusted government agency responsible for coordinating and designing major ICT tenders and projects that transform the Greek public administration into the digital era.
Throughout their career, Asthenidis has been committed to improving citizens' and businesses' experience of government services by implementing user-centric digital services and simplifying administrative processes.
Stavros Asthenidis attended the National Technical University of Athens and studied Electrical and Computer Engineering. Stavros completed their education there in 1995. In 2011, they enrolled at the Athens University of Economics and Business and pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy and Public Management, specializing in Public Administration.

Με εφόδια την τεχνογνωσία και εμπειρία 20 ετών στο σχεδιασμό, στην υλοποίηση, και τη διαχείριση καινοτόμων έργων και δράσεων ηλεκτρονικής διακυβέρνησης, - Συμμετέχουμε θεσμικά στην εξειδίκευση της ψηφιακής στρατηγικής της χώρας - Υλοποιούμε έργα που χρηματοδοτούνται από τα διαρθρωτικά και επενδυτικά ταμεία της ΕΕ, το Πρόγραμμα Δημοσίων Επενδύσεων, το Ταμείο Ανάκαμψης, μέσω Συμπράξεων Δημοσίου Ιδιωτικού Τομέα και του τακτικού προϋπολογισμού - Συνεργαζόμαστε με τους φορείς της Δημόσιας Διοίκησης στον εντοπισμό των αναγκών τους σε έργα Τεχνολογιών Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ) - Παρέχουμε εξειδικευμένη υποστήριξη στους φορείς σε όλο τον κύκλο ζωής των έργων ΤΠΕ που εχουν κληθεί να υλοποιήσουν Εργαζόμαστε για μια σύγχρονη, ψηφιακή, δυναμική Ελλλάδα που αξιοποιεί αποτελεσματικά όλες τις δυνατότητες που προσφέρουν η τεχνολογία, τα χρηματοδοτικά εργαλεία και οι αναπτυξιακές ευκαιρίες της ψηφιακής εποχής, ώστε η Δημόσια Διοίκηση να λειτουργεί σε ενα σύγχρονο περιβάλλον που χαρακτηρίζεται από διαφάνεια και ακεραιότητα και οι πολίτες και οι επιχειρήσεις να απολαμβάνουν φιλικές ψηφιακές υπηρεσίες.
