Quiana Darden

Quiana Darden-King has a diverse work experience that includes roles in insurance editing, content directing, senior editing, and elementary school teaching. In their role as an Insurance Editor at Money, they began in June 2023. Before that, they worked as a Content Director at The Write Choice Co, starting in June 2018. In this role, they developed content strategies, crafted copy, and wrote various types of content for clients in different industries. Quiana also worked as a Senior Editor at Insurify from April 2021 to June 2023. In this role, they onboarded and supervised a team of contractors, managed blog editorial calendars, and oversaw a contractor labor budget. Prior to their career in the writing and editing field, Quiana served as an Elementary School Teacher at Virginia Elementary Schools from August 2012 to January 2019. In this role, they taught students in underserved schools, analyzed academic data, and collaborated with various professionals to support student success.

Quiana Darden-King has obtained a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Early and Elementary Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Quiana also holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Old Dominion University.
