Carrie Talcott

Carrie Talcott is an experienced educator with a comprehensive background in teaching and student support. Currently serving as a Teacher and Middle School Instructor at Compass Charter Schools since March 2013, Carrie specializes in science and health through the StrongMind online system. Additionally, Carrie has taught elementary grades within a teacher-created program and the K12 curriculum. As a founding member and K-5th grade Teacher at the Academy of Arts & Sciences, Carrie actively recruits and orients new students while managing various administrative tasks. Previously, Carrie worked in the Oxnard School District in multiple roles, including Reading Intervention Teacher and substitute positions, and served as an Overnight Child Care Worker at C.A.R.E., Inc. Carrie holds a Multiple Subject Clear Professional Teaching Credential and a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development, complemented by an Associate of Arts degree.
