Derek Huddleston

Derek Huddleston currently serves as the Vice President of Special Projects at Compass Connections, overseeing the execution of high-impact initiatives. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Chief of Staff for Human Resource Services at FirstDay Foundation, where responsibilities included managing HR strategies and supporting executive-level operations. Additionally, Derek has experience as the Director of Project Management in HR Operations at FirstDay Foundation and spent over a decade at Mission Pharmacal as the Senior Director of Operations, directing multiple divisions. Earlier in Derek's career, the role of Head Athletic Trainer was fulfilled at Winston Churchill High School, and as Program Director/Camp Director for Girl Scouts of Central Texas, management of a large outdoor program area was handled. Derek holds an MBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science in Athletic Training from Texas State University.
