Alex Murphy

Alex Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Alex started their career in 2003 as a Duty Manager at Glenlo Abbey Hotel. Alex then worked as a Reservations Assistant at The Merrion Hotel and as a Concierge at Sofitel. In 2007, they joined Compass Group UK & Ireland as a Catering Manager and later became a General Manager. From 2012 to 2017, Alex worked at ISS Facility Services UK as an Operations Manager and later as an Account Director. In 2017, they joined JLL as an EMEA FM Operations Manager. In 2018, they returned to ISS Facility Services UK as an Account Director. Most recently, Alex has worked at Compass Group Ireland as the Head Of Operations and Director of Operations (Interim) for Compass at Google.

Alex Murphy completed their Leaving Certificate from Castleknock College in the years 1994 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Hotel Management from Technological University Dublin and successfully completed it from 2000 to 2003. Later on, Alex attended Atlantic Technological University where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management during the years 2003 to 2004.
