David Mortimer

David Mortimer has a robust professional background in finance within the hospitality and service industries. Early experience at Forte Hotels included roles as Finance Director and Deputy Managing Director for Posthouse and London Hotels, as well as Senior Vice President for Commercial, where operational finance control processes were developed and managed. Additional positions at Forte Hotels included Finance Director for the International Division, overseeing 35 hotels across 15 countries, and Financial Controller for both Grosvenor House and Nassau Beach Hotel. Following tenure at Forte, David Mortimer served as UK Finance Director at Compass Group, where integration and rationalization of finance and IT functions were managed post-merger, overseeing a large workforce and significant turnover. Currently, since April 2008, David Mortimer holds the position of Director of Finance at International Golf & Resort Management Ltd and acts as a Pension Fund Trustee managing assets valued at £1.5 billion. Educational background includes an HND in Hotel Administration from Birmingham College of Food.
