Marianne Sporstol

Marianne Sporstol has extensive experience in the hospitality and healthcare sectors, currently serving as the Head of Operations for Healthcare, Conference and Education at Compass Group since August 2017. Prior roles include Head of Operations for Healthcare and Education and Hotel Manager for Ullevål, Gaustad, and Montebello Patient Hotels. Previously, Marianne spent nearly seven years at Stena Line as a Healthcare Manager and Key Account Manager, focusing on building customer relationships with major Norwegian companies. At First Hotels, responsibilities included Hotel Manager and Area Sales Manager positions, overseeing daily operations and sales strategies for multiple properties. Early career experience also includes a Sales Manager/Admin role at Clarion Collection Bastion and a receptionist position at Hotel Continental. Educational qualifications include a BA of Arts in Hotel and Hospitality Management from the University of Strathclyde and further studies in Marketing and Languages.
