Simon Malleret

Simon Malleret is a Senior Analyst in the Energy practice at Compass Lexecon since September 2021, specializing in power markets regulation, market design, and modeling, with expertise in demand-side response frameworks and state aid cases. Previously, Simon held the role of Analyst and Analyst Intern in the same practice. Simon's research experience includes a position as a Visiting Graduate Researcher at DTU Wind Energy, focusing on offshore wind profitability, and Simon also contributed as a Project Finance & Investment Analyst at Voltalia, where financial modeling and investment analysis were key responsibilities. Early career experience includes working as a construction worker at Freyssinet. Simon holds a Master of Engineering from CentraleSupélec and a Master's in Environmental Technology with a focus on Energy Policy from Imperial College London.
