George Ferris

George Ferris is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management, corporate finance, and academia. Currently serving as Managing Director at Bilgola Capital since January 2013, Ferris also holds the position of Chairman at CompassMSP and previously acted as Chairman of AuthenticID. With a strong background in energy commodities as Chief Financial Officer for Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy, Ferris has also been Managing Director at Allied Capital and held a Director role at Merrill Lynch. Ferris began their career at Coopers & Lybrand as an auditor and advanced through positions at Macquarie Bank and Goldman Sachs. In addition to professional roles, Ferris has been an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business since August 2013. Ferris holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW.
