Ed Groshans

Ed Groshans is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in policy analysis, research, and investment strategy. Currently serving as a Senior Policy & Research Analyst at Compass Point Research & Trading, LLC since August 2022, Groshans previously held prominent positions at Height Capital Markets as Director & SVP, where significant contributions included assessing the implications of Dodd-Frank Act regulations. Additional roles at leading firms such as Ladenburg Thalmann, Omega Advisors, Fortress Investment Group, and Fox-Pitt Kelton involved portfolio management, financial analysis, and the creation of client-focused research products. Groshans began a career as a Commercial Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and holds an MBA in International Finance from Boston University and a BS in Business Administration from Binghamton University.
