Francisco Lopez

Francisco Lopez, MPH, CPH, currently serves as the Assistant Principal and Founding Science Teacher at Compass Rose Public Schools since November 2017. Prior experience includes the role of Impact Manager at City Year from June 2015 to July 2017, where management of a team of AmeriCorps members and collaboration with educational partners were key responsibilities. Francisco also worked as a Mathematics Teacher at KIPP San Antonio, developing individualized unit plans for students, and served as a Senior AmeriCorps Member at City Year, focusing on coaching and tutoring high school students. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health in Public Health Leadership from UNT Health Science Center, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Mary's University, and a Vocational Nursing Certificate from El Paso Community College.
