Paula Salas

Paula Salas currently serves as the School Principal at Compass Rose Public Schools since July 2023. Prior to this role, Paula worked at KIPP Texas Public Schools - San Antonio for 14 years, holding various positions including Assistant School Leader of Academics, where responsibilities included coaching in English Language Arts and Math for grades 1 through 4, and leading course content for 3rd and 4th grade Math. Other roles included Team Leader for grades 5-6 and Nonfiction Studies teacher for grades 5-6. Paula's educational background includes a Master’s degree in School Leadership from Trinity University, a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and participation in the National Principal Academy Fellowship at Relay Graduate School of Education.
