Jaclyn Poulter is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in supporting children and young people facing mental health challenges. Currently serving as a Mental Health Practitioner at Compass since January 2023, Jaclyn is part of a Mental Health Support Team focused on Whole School Approach activities. Prior experience includes roles as a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner and Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner at Action for Children, where evidence-based psychological interventions were provided under NICE guidelines. Jaclyn's background also encompasses work as a Domestic Abuse Children’s Support Worker with Nottingham Community Housing Association, a Nanny for private families, and a Residential Supervisor at Youth Villages-Germaine Lawrence Campus, where crisis intervention and support were offered to at-risk adolescents. Jaclyn holds a Postgraduate Degree in Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner from the University of Northampton and a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Keene State College.
