Sean Rambo

President at Compass Surgical Partners

Sean Rambo is a Compass co-founder and the President. He works closely with the physician board members and their health system partners to ensure they are judiciously setting the strategic direction for their partnerships.

Sean has been in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) industry for over 20 years, having worked with several industry-leading firms – including HCA, United Surgical Partners International (USPI), and Titan Health, which was ultimately sold to USPI – a transaction he was instrumental in helping to close.

He is passionate about the relationships they build with their partners, aligning with them to ensure they accomplish their vision – to provide high quality care, value to the community, and a strong return on their investment. Sean believes strongly in the value of ASCs in the healthcare industry and is heavily focused on their partnerships creating long-term value for the communities they serve. He continues to be very active in lobbying efforts for the ASC industry, both locally and nationally, and helped co-found the North Carolina ASC Association, also serving on its Board for its initial 2 years of existence.

Sean holds a dual Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Health Care Sciences (MHS) from the University of Florida.
