Chris Ortiz

Chris Ortiz, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and partnership development within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Chief Programs and Partnerships Officer at Compassion Canada, Chris leads efforts to cultivate relationships with individuals and institutions, fostering engagement to advance the organization's mission. Previous roles at Compassion Canada include Interim Chief Development Officer and Director of Programmatic and Philanthropic Engagement, where Chris focused on enhancing partnership engagement and programmatic objectives. Prior to this, Chris worked at World Vision Canada, achieving significant project milestones in the Latin American region, as well as holding leadership positions at FINANTA and Oasis Dufferin Community Centre, addressing community development and poverty alleviation. Chris holds an MBA in Development Economics and additional qualifications in social impact and commerce.
