Corinne Carey

Corinne Carey, the Senior Campaign Director for New York & New Jersey at Compassion & Choices since 2015, previously held various positions at different organizations. From April 2006 to July 2015, at New York Civil Liberties Union, Corinne served as Assistant Legislative Director, Senior Public Policy Counsel, and Policy Counsel. Additionally, Corinne worked as a Consultant at Harm Reduction Coalition from 1998 to 2009, and as a Researcher in the U.S. Program at Human Rights Watch from 2003 to 2006. Corinne also founded and directed the Harm Reduction Law Project at Urban Justice Center from 1999 to 2003, and was a Legal Fellow at Housing Works from 1998 to 1999. Corinne holds a JD in Law from the University at Buffalo School of Law, obtained from 1995 to 1998.
