Global Head Of International Affairs at Compassion in World Farming

Eirini Pitsilidi has a diverse work experience history. Eirini currently serves as the Global Head of International Affairs for Compassion in World Farming, leading a team that collaborates with governments and UN organizations. Eirini'swork focuses on sustainable animal agriculture, food systems, nitrogen management, One Health, antimicrobial resistance, and nutrition security. Previously, they worked as the Global Communications Manager for Compassion in World Farming from February 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that, they were the Dogs Trust Dog School Area Manager from November 2017 to February 2019. Eirini Pitsilidi also founded The Dog Company - Canine welfare and behaviour, where they served as the Founder from March 2012 to October 2017. Eirini started their career at OnLime Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Communications, initially as a Key Account Manager from February 2005 to January 2008, and later as the Head of Key Accounts - Public Affairs and Strategic Communications from March 2008 to December 2013.

Eirini Pitsilidi completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare at The University of Edinburgh from 2016 to 2017. Eirini also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Middlesex University from 2001 to 2002.
