Global Head Of Campaigns (animals & Environment) at Compassion in World Farming

Zita Dusa has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Zita started their career in 2016 as the Founder and Green Coffee Buyer at Pelan Beans, where they aimed to improve the coffee industry's impact on the environment and farmers' livelihoods. In 2018, they became the Country Manager for the Netherlands at Interaction Design Foundation, organizing meet-ups and building a community of individuals interested in design and digital experiences. Zita then worked as a Digital Strategy and Content Lead at Starthubs.co in 2019, followed by roles as an Online Mobilization Consultant and International Digital Fundraiser at FOUR PAWS in 2018-2019. Zita also worked at SKSMA - Zitadusa.com as an Online Marketing Specialist in 2019. From 2020 to 2021, they took on various pro-bono and volunteer projects, including volunteer work at Tuinderij de Vollegrond and providing advertising advice to Modernist. In 2021, they joined Meatless Farm as a Senior Digital Marketer for a short period. Zita then worked at FOUR PAWS again in 2022-2023 as a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, focusing on digital fundraising strategy for the ECI FUR petition campaign. Currently, they serve as the Global Senior Mobilization Campaigns Manager and the Global Head of Campaigns (Animals & Environment) at Compassion in World Farming, leading campaigns for animal welfare and environmental protection, such as the END. IT campaign with a goal of transforming food systems and advocating for a UN global agreement.

Zita Dusa's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they were an exchange student at Mahawithayalai Mahidol in Bangkok, Thailand, studying International Business. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Applied Psychology - Psychology and Health at NTI, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, Zita has obtained certifications in UX Design from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF), a membership certificate from the Interaction Design Foundation, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google.
