Sarah Byrd

Sarah Byrd has extensive experience in program management and safeguarding, currently serving as the Senior Manager of the Protection and Safeguarding Advisory Team at Compassion International since November 2015. In this role, Sarah has held various leadership positions including Interim Senior Director of Program Design and Senior Program Design Specialist with a focus on safeguarding initiatives. Prior to joining Compassion International, Sarah worked as the Director of Operations at Empart USA from September 2014 to November 2015, and at Children's HopeChest from May 2009 to September 2014, where roles included Program Manager and Partner Relations Coordinator. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Colorado State University.
