Ian Childs

Ian Childs has extensive experience in partnership development, project management, and operational leadership across various sectors. Currently serving in the Church Partnerships team at Compassion UK since January 2014, Ian focuses on establishing and managing relationships with church leaders across denominations while supporting Partnership Managers in the South of England. Prior to this role, Ian was a Project Manager at The Trussell Trust, overseeing operations for one of the UK's largest food banks. Ian's career began in education as Head of Department for Sciences at Kent County Council and includes key operational roles at Whitbread and Allied Domecq, enhancing project delivery and management capabilities. Ian holds a BSc Hons in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Hull.
