Jason Sanders

Jason Sanders has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jason began their career in 2007 at Garden-Ville, where they managed the on-site greenhouse and marketed compost, mulch, and engineered soils. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Composting Coordinator at Organics By Gosh, designing programs for various establishments and selling finished compost.

In 2010, Jason joined Texas Disposal Systems as a Recycling and Composting Coordinator, developing and implementing recycling and composting programs for numerous clients. Jason worked with notable organizations such as The W Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel, Samsung, Apple, and various school districts and healthcare facilities.

In 2013, Jason served as an Adjunct Professor at Texas State University. Jason then transitioned to the role of National Programs Manager at EcoSafe® Zero Waste from 2014 to 2018. In this position, they managed national programs related to waste management.

In 2016, Jason became the owner of Miracle Farms, where they operated a permitted cannabis farm and a worm farm. Jason cultivated cannabis utilizing various methods including indoor, greenhouse, light dep, and aquaponics. Additionally, they farmed worms in rows under a covered horse arena.

Jason's extensive experience in the cannabis industry continued in 2018 when they joined Origins Mendo as the Director of Cultivation. Jason managed multiple cultivation permits and oversaw a 4-acre harvest for fresh frozen cannabis.

Currently, Jason Sanders holds the position of Director of Cultivation at Texas Original since October 2021. Jason leads the cultivation efforts for the company, leveraging their expertise and experience in the industry.

Jason Sanders attended Texas State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business. Jason then pursued further education at the same university from 2008 to 2010, completing a Master of Education degree in Agricultural Education.
