Selaelo Maraka

Selaelo Maraka is a seasoned professional in talent acquisition with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Talent Acquisition Officer at The Competition Commission South Africa since June 2022, Selaelo focuses on revamping and implementing talent acquisition strategies and building talent pipelines. Prior to this role, Selaelo worked at PepsiCo as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and TA Capability Project Lead, emphasizing an exceptional candidate experience. Earlier experience includes leading projects at JHV Management and holding various recruitment positions at FNB South Africa and Ernst & Young. Selaelo's career also features consultancy roles and specialized recruitment at DAV Professional Placement Group and experience in client care with Virgin Mobile UK. Selaelo holds a BCom in Law from the University of South Africa and completed a Management Development Programme at Stellenbosch Business School.
