Zintle Siyo has extensive experience in the field of economics and competition law, currently serving as an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Division at The Competition Commission South Africa since April 2016, after progressing through roles as Junior Analyst and Graduate Trainee. Responsibilities include investigating the competitive impacts of mergers, conducting research and analysis, and preparing reports while collaborating with relevant stakeholders. Previous experience includes serving as an Academic Tutor for third-year Economics students at Rhodes University. Zintle Siyo holds a Master of Commerce in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Competition Law from the University of Pretoria, an Honours Degree in Economics, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Economics, all from Rhodes University.
