Gisella Basurto

Gisella Basurto is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Director of Accounting at Competitive Power Ventures since October 2022, Gisella previously held the position of Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting at SB Energy from May 2022 to October 2022. Prior roles at The AES Corporation included various senior accountant positions, as well as Internal Policies Specialist and Regional Accountant, spanning from November 2006 to May 2022. Gisella began their career at KPMG as Audit Staff from September 2004 to June 2006 and worked as a Financial Assistant at UNDP for a brief period in 2004. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and CPA certification from Virginia Board of Accountancy.
