Rodrigo Fraga-Silva

Rodrigo Fraga-Silva is the CEO and Co-Founder of Comphya. Rodrigo was previously a Scientist at Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering from October 2015 to September 2017. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at EPFL from October 2011 to September 2015 where they supported the fundraising of approx. CHF 1'646 Mio in different research grants and published over 36 indexed scientific articles. Before that, they were a Forensic Criminal Investigator (Forensic Scientist) at Instituto de Criminalística de Minas Gerais from July 2009 to October 2011. Rodrigo has also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at University of Florida from February 2008 to February 2009.

Rodrigo Fraga-Silva received a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Rodrigo then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology from the same school. After that, they completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Management of Biotech, Medtech & Pharma Ventures from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Finally, they received certification from Venturelab in Innosuisse Business Growth Medtech.
